GSR Award Winners and Categories
Overview of GSR awards
The Global Students Research (GSR) celebrates exceptional
student research by recognizing 11 winners across five distinct
categories. These categories are designed to honor diverse
aspects of innovative research, including creativity, scientific
excellence, and the potential impact of the work. By awarding
prizes in multiple categories, GSR ensures that a variety of
research fields, from fundamental scientific exploration to
practical applications, are acknowledged. The approach reflects
commitment to fostering academic growth, encouraging diverse
research endeavors, and inspiring students to make meaningful
contributions to their fields.
Judging Process
The judging for the GSR awards will take place online, where
submissions will be assessed based on the research poster
submitted by participants. Experts in each scientific field,
including doctors and professors, will evaluate the work using a
scoring system. This approach guarantees a thorough and
professional evaluation by individuals with expertise in the
relevant areas of research. The winners will be announced and
awarded on the final day of the ceremony.
Categories of Recognition
We are excited to announce the prizes for the upcoming event,
which is divided into six scientific categories. A total of 18 winners
will be recognized across all categories, with three winners per
category. These awards aim to celebrate excellence in research
and innovation, encouraging participants to push the boundaries
of their fields.
Each category will have 3 winners:
The six categories are:
- Business, Social Sciences, and Humanities
- Chemical Processes & Industrial Innovations
- Health, Biomedical Engineering, and Biotechnology
- Materials and Manufacturing
- Smart Systems, Robotics, Automation, and AI
- Sustainability, Energy, and Environment
- 1st place: 2,500 Saudi Riyals
- 2nd place: 1,500 Saudi Riyals
- 3rd place: 1,000 Saudi Riyals
The evaluation criteria will be based on originality, scientific rigor,
practical applications, and the overall impact of the research,
ensuring that the most innovative and impactful projects are
recognized.
In addition to these category prizes, we are pleased to introduce
the Audience Choice Award. This special recognition will be
given to the research that receives the highest number of votes
from the attendees and visitors at the event. The winner of the
Audience Choice Award will receive 1,000 Saudi Riyals.
